The Obelisk

Description

The Obelisk is part of the True Genius Collection. Players must assemble the layers and pegs of the obelisk around the central dowel. The ancient Egyptians knew them as “tekhen.” Today, they are known as obelisks and have been standing tall since 2575 BC. These massive structures were thought to honor Ra, the Egyptian sun god; their long shape representing a beam of light. Obelisks are still a puzzle to scientists today, who do not know how the Egyptians were able to erect such heavy structures into the air with their current technology.
