The Lost “Man”

Description

Following the success of the ‘Get off the Earth Puzzle’ a variation called, ‘The Lost Man’, possibly inspired by a successful musical of the time, was released in 1897. It consists of men and lanterns encircling the globe. Push up the handle on the back of the card and you will find eight men and eight lanterns. Move the handle down and there are nine men and eight lanterns. Where does he come from?
