Description
The game has a 4×4 plastic game board with 16 spaces. There are 16 double sided game pieces: 8 blue/green and 8 yellow/white that fit in these spaces. One set is embossed with the letter “X” while the other is embossed with the letter “O”. The clear lid snaps shut for easy storage and portability, so you can take your Rubik’s® Tac Toe with you anywhere. At the beginning of the game, the board is empty. One player takes the 8 “X” pieces and the other takes the 8 “O” pieces. To win the game you must align 3 of your game pieces of the same color (all green, all blue, all white or all yellow) in a “locked” row, either horizontally, vertically or diagonally. A row of three is “locked” when none of the game pieces in it can be flipped into an adjacent square because all the adjacent squares are occupied. Age: 7+
