Aren’t we lucky to have this peek at market day in an English village. Neighbors have come together in the area between Mulligan’s Pub and the Royal Oak Inn to have a chat and peruse the stalls. Fresh fruit and veg, breads and sweets, singing birds in cages, sunflowers and live fowl are on offer from the seasoned vendors. It’s been a long day for one fellow (who might have spent part of it in Mulligan’s), yawning while he rests on a bench.
